Refunds & cancellations

Scope

This policy applies to consulting fees and deposits for File Brook Hub consultations (framework planning, test strategy workshops, and framework audits). This site does not sell physical goods, software licences, or subscription seats.

Eligibility overview

Refunds depend on how much preparation or facilitation has begun, and on notice timing. Informal chat messages are not cancellations; use email to info@filebrookhub.click or the address on your engagement letter.

Deposits for planning and audits

• Full refund of deposit: if you cancel in writing at least 14 days before the first scheduled session and we have not started paid preparation beyond the complimentary scope call.
• 50% of deposit retained: cancellations between 13 and 5 days before the first session, to cover reserved calendar time and early document review.
• Deposit non-refundable: cancellations inside 5 days, no-shows without 24 hours’ notice, or after discovery sessions have begun.

Workshop days

Workshop fees paid in advance are refundable in full if cancelled at least 10 days before the workshop date. Inside 10 days, you may reschedule once within 60 days subject to availability; if you cancel instead of rescheduling, 50% of the fee is retained. No-shows without 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable.

Work already started

If we have delivered draft blueprints, partial audit findings, or completed any facilitated session, fees for completed portions are non-refundable. Unused future sessions may be refunded pro rata minus a 10% administrative fee, or credited toward a rescheduled date within 90 days.

Materials and third-party costs

Room hire, printing, or travel booked at your request are non-refundable once incurred. We will not purchase materials on your behalf without written approval.

Rescheduling

Each engagement may be rescheduled once without fee if you give at least 7 days’ notice and a mutually available slot exists within 90 days. Further reschedules may incur a NT$4,000 administrative fee.

Refund method and timing

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method within 14 business days after written approval. Bank fees charged by intermediaries are deducted when the bank requires it.

How to request a refund

Email info@filebrookhub.click with your engagement reference, reason, and preferred contact phone. We confirm receipt within three business days and state whether a refund, credit, or decline applies under this policy.

Exceptions

Force majeure events (severe weather, civic emergency, or consultant illness) allow mutual rescheduling without penalty. If rescheduling is impossible within 90 days, unused prepaid fees are refunded in full.
