Data we collect

  • Contact form: name, email, selected consultation type, optional project scope note, and message content.
  • Email and phone correspondence: whatever you choose to send when arranging an engagement.
  • Engagement records: meeting notes, artefacts, and billing details required to perform and invoice consulting work.
  • Technical logs: basic server or hosting logs (IP address, timestamp, requested path) that may be generated by our host.

Purposes

We process data to respond to consult requests, deliver engagements, invoice, meet legal obligations, and—only with consent—understand aggregate site traffic.

Where Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) applies, we rely on contract performance, legitimate interests in operating a consulting practice, legal obligation, and consent for optional analytics cookies.

Retention

  • Unsuccessful inquiries: up to 12 months.
  • Engagement files: up to 7 years for accounting and dispute purposes, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Analytics data (if enabled): per the analytics provider’s stated retention, typically 14 months or less.

Sharing

We use processors for email, hosting, and—if you accept analytics—measurement. We do not sell personal data. We may disclose information when required by Taiwanese authorities or to defend legal claims.

International transfers

If a processor stores data outside Taiwan, we take reasonable contractual and organisational steps to protect it consistently with PDPA expectations and inform you when a transfer is material to your engagement.

Your rights

Children

Our services are directed at professional adults. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Updates

We may revise this policy by updating this page. Material changes affecting active clients will also be noted by email when practicable.
