Audit order: stabilise before you redesign
Why framework audits at File Brook Hub put flake triage ahead of folder reorganisation theatre.
Leaders often want the audit to bless a rewrite. Rewrites photograph well in planning decks. They also freeze delivery for months while the old suite still blocks releases.
Our audit template therefore sorts findings into three lanes:
- Stabilise now — waits, shared login helpers, environment keys, quarantine lists with owners
- Restructure next — package boundaries, naming, fixture libraries
- Defer — ideas that need staffing you do not have this quarter
A Taiwan-specific note
Many suites here span Mandarin and English environments with slight config drift. Audits that ignore locale and payment sandbox differences miss the failures that actually wake people at 2 a.m. We ask for both environment inventories early.
Using the report
The report is a negotiation tool. Bring it to planning if you later book a framework engagement; ignore the glamorous rewrite chapter if the stabilise lane is still red.
